Toyota 4Runner transmission shift cable kit allows you to quickly and easily repair your shift selector cable by replacing the bushing. The kit replaces the bushing on the interior end of the cable located at the base of the gear shifter.
The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) custom molded replacement bushing ensures a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 5 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 10 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install.
The kit includes DIY instructions, custom molded bushing, and patent pending installation tools.

Great little bushing!
I saw this while browsing for a Shift Cable for my Toyota 4runner. Cheapest I found was $273 and some change. That's not counting the labor that I have to pay my mechanic to put it on. I figured I could try this one first and if it does not work, then oh well, I guess I'm buying the expensive cable. The shipping is on point even with USPS. I got it within 3 days. I had a hard time putting this bushing because of the tight space. I also almost lost it the first time as I dropped it in between the cables and the gear shifter. I recommend putting a piece of clothing underneath just in case you drop it while putting the bushing on. The tool that came with it is practically useless and using your fingers to guide is easier. After a lot of tries, I finally was able to get it in and everything else is easy from there. I know your demonstration vid has the cable off so of course it looked too easy. This is the only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. But all in all, great product, and I've been using my car for about 4 days now and no issues,. Thank you for coming up with a cheaper option. Keep it up!

Beat the dealership!
Toyota doesn't sell the bushing, you get to buy a whole new cable, about $120 plus the labor to install. For about $30 I got the new bushing and installed it myself...huge savings.
