$$$ saved
Quality is a 5.
I had to disconnect the cable at the interior retaining clip. Once I did that it took about 10 min. to complete.
Pair of pliers & I used a1/2inch breaker bar handle to push the cable on the gearshift . -
2 days and 2 minutes: Back on the Road!
After getting into my 2007 Nissan Xterra and finding out that it wouldn't shift out of park, I panicked. My mind flooded with the worst possible scenarios and the highest priced mechanics quoting me to fix it. After calming down, I got on google and searched the message boards. I found similar situations and a "too good to be true fix", that actually ended up being true! Paid for the 4 day shipping and got it in two days. Took me 2 minutes to install the bushing. No need to replace the shift cable. No need to pay a mechanic. BACK on the Road! If your vehicle isn't shifting and you find out the bushing went poof out of existence like mine did, do yourself a favor and save yourself time, money and hassle. Get to the bushingfix.com website and look for your vehicle. If you can't find it, call them up. They will get you back on the road.

2007 xterra with over 200k, factory bushings finally gave out lucky was already home and parked. Researched on YouTube saw videos on how to fix the problem and mention bushingfix. Went to website ordered bushings online on July 4th and received item Saturday that same week. Replacing it couldn't have been any easier, and a lot cheaper than taking it to a repair shop
