The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) driver and custom molded replacement bushing ensures a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 5 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 10 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Received a few days after ordering. It slipped right in and saved me a lot of money, considering the Nissan dealership wanted $139 for a cable.

There’s nothing like being stranded on the road with the transmission cable having come off of its a connection underneath the dash of the truck. Fortunately, mine came off when I was in the drive gear and so I was able to drive home and park the truck, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to start again until I found out what the problem was and get it into park or neutral. Through my searching I found bushingfix.com and was delighted to see the price was only about $30 compared to the $154 for the cable from Nissan, plus installation. My mechanic had never heard of bushingfix.com and he was prepared to install a new cable, however, when he heard of Bushing Fix, it was a no-brainer. Frankly, the bushing could be installed probably within 15 minutes whether it was on the inter-end or outer-end, either one, what a pleasant discovery! I did the fix myself rather than towing my truck to their garage and having the labor charge. In addition. I’ll give you a five star plus rating. Thank you for the wonderful savings and easy fix.

The washer or grommet fit and seated very well in my 2006 Infinity qx56. It was easy to order, maybe a little pricey but it was worth it. I installed it in about 10 minutes.

Shift cable bushing
After a mixup of “ME” ordering the wrong part and one midship I received the bushing kit and had it installed in two minutes. Works perfectly! And the Nissan Dealer said I had to have a complete shift cable installed! Don’t believe them. This is a simple and quick install. Thanks, saved me a lot of money.
