The kit allows you to quickly and easily repair your shift cables by replacing the bushings. The patented installation tools and custom molded replacement bushings ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 15 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 30 minutes. These bushings are made from a material that will outlast the factory bushings and the kit includes everything needed to install. Shift Cable Bushing Kit - Fiat 500 Sport, Manual Trans.
This kit is excellent. The Bushing Fix one piece, solid replacement for the OE laminated assembly, permanently takes out all the looseness in the OE part which seems to ultimately cause OE premature failure. The car’s shift qualities are now crisp and accurate to the pattern. The entire shifting experience is improved with a much more precise, mechanical feel. The Bushing Fix Kit makes it work the way it should. Additionally... Excellent overnight service to Up-State NY as well. Sincere, genuine appreciation for the team and this great product! P.S. As an instal hint, if possible, hit the cable ends with Liquid Wrench the night before. Makes changing the bushings with the cable kept in the car easy by simply backing off the locking nut 1/4 turn to unthread the cable end.
