Mitsubishi Montero transmission shift cable kit allows you to quickly and easily repair your shift selector cable by replacing the bushing. The kit replaces the bushing on the interior end of the cable located at the base of the gear shifter.
The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) custom molded replacement bushing ensures a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 5 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 10 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Great product. Better than replacing a perfectly good cable. Iinstalation was a breeze. Delivery was fast.

Kit worked great and it was an easy repair.

Good Product for Common Problem
The bushing was easy (almost too easy) to press into the eyelet on my shifter cable. Unfortunately, the cable was significantly worn and still slop even after pressing in the new bushing. I'd give this five (5) stars if the bushing were a higher durometer, as is it seems to allow some play even beyond my reticent gap (from the 10+ years of shifting without the factory bushing).
