perfect solution
The fix is a perfect solution to the annoying situation of a small bushing that breaks in your cable. The cable is fine, but the missing bushing prevents the shift linkage from getting to the proper location. that's where this bushing fix comes in. it's a great idea.

Our Mazdi's good transmission is secure again :)
I just had transmission service earlier this year but you can't get total service anymore for although the transmission got a good bill of health after service the technician failed to inspect all parts and would've noticed the original bushing's condition and recommend replacement to avoid our stranding two sundays ago when out for a drive along a rainy California coast due to the bushing popping off. Ofcourse I looked to a local Mazda dealer first finding out about the expensive solution they offered of replacing the whole cable. I searched auto forums online regarding the issue and when I found bushingfix.com it made sense and my mechanic agreed though never heard of it. I bought it and the following day it arrived my mechanic successfully installed it. Thanks :)
