The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 10 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 25 minutes. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Aviator Repair Kit
This by far is the easiest repair I've performed on my vehicle. Don't replace or get pushed into replacing the entire cable by a mechanic or the dealership. Save yourself the labor cost. Simply remove the brittle plastic that is bad on your shift cable and use the new product that's backed by a lifetime warranty through Bushingfix.
