And...KNOCK ON WOOD...I'm HOPING lasts for years to come..!
It's been in place for almost a week and I'm planning on buying another one just to have on hand...just to be safe..!
ONLY PROBLEM I had was the stupid little "tool" that come with...DIDN'T WORK FOR S**T..!
But, a little bit of spit and it popped right into place..
And once the spit dried...she was ALL GOOD..! ✌ -

small black rubber should have only costed $1.00, what a rip off at $25.00 plus shipping $ 5.00. White Man keeps stealing.

Saved me $450 - just as easy as the video shows
This product was amazingly easy to use. I had my Jeep (2007 Wrangler 4-dr) towed to the dealership repair shop due to what I already knew was a disintegrated shift bushing (at the transmission end of the shift rod) and they called with a $500+ repair quote because they said they had to take the whole center console apart and replace the entire shift rod and bushing because Chrysler only sells the rod/bushing as a set and they don't have the tool to take it apart or just put a bushing in. I found this site with a quick google search, paid the $25, paid $25 extra for overnight shipping & the product came the next day - although it was a different color than in the pics, with fairly minimal effort, I got the bushing seated in the tool, climbed under my Jeep & put this bad-boy in. Took less than 2 minutes & 1 minute of that was me climbing under my Jeep. This was the easiest fix ever & saved me over $450. It's been working no issues for several weeks. 3 tips: 1) if you have big meat-sausage hands, you may not be able to get your fingers up in their to insert the bushing - my hands are regular human size ;-) 2) be VERY careful when you're maneuvering the bushing in and around all the obstacles to get it up to the end of the shift rod, because without a bit of finesse, you run the risk of accidentally popping it up onto other parts of your under-carriage that you cannot reach and then your bushing and tool are gone; 3) make sure the rod and transmission are in park for the best install position.

great fix to my issue
Bushing on my shifter cable wore out. I looked at the dealership and they would only sell me the entire cable assembly for $180. I got an aftermarket one at the auto parts store which didn't fit. That one didn't fit. Finally found this place , so lucky I did. worked perfectly.

Worked like a charm
Product worked well I did get the new designed one with the little black tool to help push it in. The only issue was with me laying on the ground trying to reach up to cable and press bushing in but product was right on.

Great Fix
Stupid design by OEM, glad I found this product though. A bit pricey for what it is. Red cap doesn't go on as easy as it does in video, imagine that. Does what its supposed to do, and that's what matters.
