Shift Linkage G1 repair kit
I just received my kit last night and installed it this morning. It was for my 1998 Silverado. I put it up on ramps and crawled underneath. Before doing this I watched the video but I chose to do it on the truck. After spending 30 minutes trying to put it in the way the video said I gave up, it was not going in. I then thought I saw it somewhere saying put it in sideways and then turn it. I did that with the help of a small screwdriver and it worked perfectly. I then used channel locks to pull it tight and it was done ! One hour installed, I tested it shifting gears about 4 times and went back under to check it and it was fine. Now only time will tell but if it last as long as the original, I'll be good for many years.

It Worked
Since I did not have a simple straight forward kit solution, I needed help and made an inquiry. BushingFix.com responded quickly with as much support as I needed. After purchasing a kit they recommended for our truck that was not listed in their guide, I need additional support for installation of the kit. They again responded quickly and guided me through the process. In the end, the kit worked and I am satisfied.
