Our Fiat 500X (Manual Transmission) kit allows you to quickly and easily repair your transmission shift tensioner strut by replacing the bushings. These parts fit into a piece called the manual transmission shift rod strut. Often mistakenly called the shift linkage. This piece is on top pf the transmission and the shift cables attach to this in the engine bay.
The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) installation tools and custom molded replacement bushings ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 15 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 30 minutes. These bushings are made from a material that will outlast the factory bushings and the kit includes everything needed to install.
