Our Dodge Dart (Manual Transmission) kit allows you to quickly and easily repair your transmission shift tensioner strut replacing the bushings. These parts fit into a piece called the manual transmission shift rod strut. Often mistakenly called the shift linkage. This piece is on top pf the transmission and the shift cables attach to this in the engine bay.
The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) installation tools and custom molded replacement bushings ensure a quality repair with ease. A professional can perform this repair in under 15 minutes, average time for a non-professional is less than 30 minutes. These bushings are made from a material that will outlast the factory bushings and the kit includes everything needed to install. Complete bushing satisfaction
Hands down it installed like a dream. Once I figured out how to remove the tensioner strut.. for those of you whom couldn't find the trick, I just quarter turned it and fed it under the components on the left, once it was free and clear it popped right off and installed the same way. Proper removal instructions are hard to find and my guess is because dodge sells that part as complete with the bushing and all. There's no way to get just the bushing from them

Good Quality
As an aspiring engineer in the middle of my schooling curriculum, I can appreciate a simple, well thought out product. This is one piece compared to dodge's obviously faulty 3 piece shift bushing. You guys wont be disappointed. the directions are crystal clear, no guess work, no modifications or custom fab work to get it to fit. The bushing does what they say it does. Finally some people who knows what their doing.
