The patented (US patent #10,619,723 and #10,215,273) coupling and custom molded replacement bushing ensure a quality repair with ease. This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. 1998 Venture transmission shift bushing
This kit works. It's a shame that I had to take apart my dashboard to replace it on the internal linkage, because my van was baking in the hottest summer my area has seen in a long time, and I'm not young. It is expensive for what it is, but I'm sure I saved a bunch of bucks doing the repair myself. It's a shame that GM put such a fragile part on the transmission linkage (which has a bushing on the under-hood end. That one had been replaced earlier by a mechanic friend.

Well Done Guys [and Gals]!
I was on vacation and bushing fell out on my 2001 Chevy Venture and I was stuck with a "floppy" shift handle. Thank goodness for your excellent YouTube video. I saw immediately what I needed and what I needed to fix this problem, do but had no bushing and no way to order one at the time. Sooo... I used two vegetable rubber bands as a very temporary fix until I got home. A week and 700 miles later I got home and ordered the proper bushing. A few days later I spent 20 minutes and fixed the sucker!
Between the video and the part, I was so relieved to find out that this repair didn't have to be a major hit to my budget that I was able to continue my vacation with peace of mind and had a great time with my family.
Thank you one and all for a great product and such an obvious/simple solution. Again... Well done guys [and gals]. -

Great product, add some pictures to the instructions and it would be perfect. Fixed my problem in about 30 min.

tHE BEST SOLUTION. wITH THIS BUSHING i DIN´T HAVE TO TAKE APART THE SHIFT LEVER CABLE WICH IS A LITLE BIT COMPLICATED AND LABORIUS. iT TOOK JUST 5 MINUTES AND CHEAPER THAN TO BUY THE WHOLE CABLE.
