Chevy malibu shift cable bushing
This was a life saver. Was told the only way to fix this issue when my old bushing broke was to replace the whole cable. This was easy to put on and saved me so much money.

2011 Chevy Malibu
The bushing is doing what is claimed, but I would like it to fit tighter. Since my customer has been driving for months with no bushing in place, the plastic opening for the bushing is worn. I pushed the bushing into place with very little finger pressure. I expected the bushing to be tighter. It pushed all the way through one first attempt to push shift rod back on trans. lever. Put bushing back in without need of tools supplied.

Trans mission Linkage repair kit
I found that the bushing was of better quality than original equipment. Installing it was not as easy as your video shows though due to not removing the cable end as you have done in the video. Working in tight courters with the cable still attached is not as easy. I used a little dish soap to lubricate it and because of the length of the installer pin I taped a nut to the receiving cup so I would not come in contact with it when squeezing it. Took me about a half hour to install bushing. Making the receiving cup a little longer would really help. It was a 2004 Malibu Maxx I used it on. It save me a lot of time and money.
