This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. This company is the only people that takes time to make these bushings .the dealership wanted me to buy the hole cable for $100 and then mechanic wanted a lot more than that to put it in .I change the bushing out in less than 5 minutes . It save me a lot of time and a lot of money. Thanks you bushing fix..

Brilliant Idea ! Excellent Product !
If you have this problem of a dammaged shift cable bushing, then this is the solution to your problem, and it will save you lots of money compared to having the cable replaced. It's very simple to install. I have mechanical knowledge, but is isn't really necessary. Just watch the video which walks you through the steps. The little installation tool that is included makes installing a breeze. Once you get acess to the cable, it literally only takes seconds to install. The bushing appears well made and fit perfectly. I used a pair of channel-lock pliers as in the video to press it in. I hope I don't have this issue again, but if I do, I know where to come for help.

Awesome product
I started not to buy this bushing when I found it online, because I just did not know if I would even get the bushing or not. But so GLAD I DID great customer support, got the bushing right on time. Plus I am so impressed with the bushing and the tool to install the bushing, the whole experience was 7 stars. Very easy to install and everything fit perfect, I could not believe it. I will highly recommend this product to anyone. Don't change out the whole cable if the cable is good, just change the bushing.

Good product, not quite as easy as described
First off, the kit is straightforward and well made. However, most of the videos are generic for a group of cars and let me tell you not all are as easy as they say. 2004 Cavalier for example is quite a headache because most of the parts in the way are not as movable as the air intake shown in the video. (i.e- master cylinder and AC lines) Once you get to replacing the part, its literally 30 seconds and done. Little bit pricey but cheaper than replacing the whole part.
