The rubber bushing had gone back previously and then caused tons of issues. We took it to a shop who advised that they had fixed the issue. Fast forward a year and the fix came apart. It appeared that the shop had installed the new factory bushing over the bottom rotted portion of the old. I decided to go with this option since I didn’t want to leave anything to chance since it could possibly result in leaving my kid stranded. Once it arrived I dug the rotted portion out and removed the factory bushing from the top portion. I watched the install video and took the intake tube out but didn’t mess with the attachment that secured the linkage. I was able to get down into the area and complete the entire install in about 15 or so minutes with a longer adjustable wrench. Hoping the upgraded quality allows our little 2002 Chevy cavalier to run another 100,000 miles.

Wow! My hero s! I fx it in 3 min. top$! I am woman, so hear me rrrwoww! Luv u, this a life saver in co$t n time. Just C clamp! n adjust pliers! A flat screw drvr, done. Took longer to clean out old bushing n take off air cleaner section lol, iv got small hands was tight spot of cavalier, but didn't even hv to remove the line to pull out ha! Thank you, fast ship n 3! Worth every penny! bought one from autozone that said it was universal but wasn't even close to working. Don't waste your time any other kind, this one went on in under 5 minutes (with a big pair of channel locks).

It was harder to get both hands in to hold the bushing and clamp it. To make it easer I used masking tape to hold every thing in place and then used a 3 inch C clamp to press it in. It works good

Brilliant idea and Excellent execution! I am extremely satisfied with this bushing kit and with the shipping times and communications of this company.
I am mechanically inclined but not at all a professional mechanic. I installed this bushing in a 2004 Cavalier in around 10 minutes! All I used was a screw driver, a pair of Channellocks (adjustable pliers), and the provided tools. Extremely simple, very effective!
