This bushing is made from a material that was designed to outlast the factory bushing and includes everything needed to install. Shifter bushing repair
This bushing fit my 2004 F150 console shifter linkage perfectly and truck is back to full operation. Would also fit a 2005 F150. The other parts were not needed for this repair (only the white bushing, factory bushing was yellow and crumbled).

UP1KIT 2004 F150 FX4
Received the kit within 2 days of ordering. Took me about 10 minutes to fix the bushing that connects the cable to the transmission underneath the truck. Perfect fit - fixed my problem. I heard the dealer wanted $400 to install a new cable - which is not needed. Simple bushing fix did the job. I’ll probably do the bushing at the shifter side inside the cab as a precaution since my luck that will go out next.

Great quick fix
My 2004 F150 has 193,000 miles on it and a new transmission as of last year. When my shifter cable started popping off underneath at the transmission, I found this product online. I climbed under the truck and popped this bushing in and reattached my transmission shifter cable in about five miutes. works perfectly. Great find great product
